Description
Image of orange lichen covered rocks along the shore of Lake Abert in southeastern Oregon. What is so much fun about these rocks is that when you are facing south you see that all of the rocks are orange, but when you are coming the other way, driving north, you don't see the orange at all and would not know that the rocks are orange unless you turned around and looked to the south. There are thousands of these lichen covered boulders lining much of the long eastern shoreline of Lake Abert.

Beautiful! I love how there is an interesting foreground and background in this picture! Makes it interesting to look at up close and far away, like!
